DH Capital Finalizes Two Cable TV Transactions

DH Capital, an investment banking firm, was recently chosen as the exclusive financial advisor for the completion of two transactions in the cable TV industry.
 
First, DH Capital was advisor for the sale of Willamette Broadband cable TV Systems to WaveDivision Holdings, LLC. The former was controlled by Northwest Capital Appreciation, Inc. and Avalon equity Partners, L.P. Willamette owned cable TV systems in Oregon and California. The transaction was initiated and finalized by DH Capital in its capacity as exclusive financial advisor for Willamette.
 
“The Willamette cable television systems were a terrific opportunity for Avalon and Northwest Capital and it was gratifying to sell them to a terrific cable operator that will continue to invest in these communities,” remarked Cameron Hewes, Partner at Northwest Capital.
 
Joseph Duggan, CEO of DH Capital said, “These cable systems are located in very attractive communities. We expected a good reception from the market and were pleased with the final outcome for our client.”
 
Second, DH Capital finalized the acquisition of First Commonwealth Cable by Harron Communications (News - Alert). Harron has acquired many cable television systems in Virginia communities including Lancaster, Middlesex and Northumberland Counties from First Commonwealth cable.
 
Harron Communications operates cable televisions in Connecticut, Maine, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Virginia serving thousands of subscribers.
