GoFrugal Technologies, a provider of retail and distribution business automation solutions, is adopting AdventNet’s (News - Alert) SwisSQL Data Migration to manage support for multiple database, announced AdventNet.

 

GoFrugal Technologies’ retail chain management solution, RayMedi Head Quarter (HQ), is a web-based solution for managing a chain of stores. Since various stores may not be based on the same databases, RayMedi HQ had to support multiple databases.

 

To manage this data migration, GoFrugal Technologies started evaluating various options. In particular, it was looking for a solution that was simple, easy to handle and delivered high performance. A proof of concept (POC) for data migration done using SwisSQL showed impressive results for quality and speed of migration.
