Web-Based Invention Online Makes Payment, Debt Collection Easier
TMCnet Contributing Editor

ACCESS Receivables Management and InterProse Corporation have filed a joint patent for the ARIA Virtual Agent, a new web-based customer service invention. It makes sure that customer service, debt collection and online payment is made faster and easier.

Most websites are not customer-centric. In such cases, reports indicate that more than 70 percent of customers stop visiting a website simply because they are too confusing, difficult to navigate or don’t offer payment options. But with ARIA Virtual Agent, customers find a one-click solution.

Tom Gillespie, president of ACCESS said, “It is our belief that today’s consumer and small business owner prefer to handle communication via the web. ARIA Virtual Agent can incorporate bill presentment, purchase options, online payment, delinquent account collection and lots more.”

Filed under the name ‘Methods and Systems for Account Management and Virtual Agent Design and Implementation,’ this invention allows web-based companies to collect delinquent accounts, make sales and offer support in a fast, friendly manner.

Where consumers and businesses are tired of hearing the routine recorded message where they have to follow the customary ‘press 1,’ ‘press 3,’ and ‘press 5,’ this ‘communication gap’ has given rise to a new industry in offshore countries that offer cheaper cost per attempt.

Matthew Hill, of InterProse, says, "ARIA’s intelligent decisioning allows it to combine information from internal and external databases to present customized offers based on demographics, histories, credit scores, and takes payments with its integrated payment engine."

Built on the WebAR, ARIA Virtual Agent is a multi-lingual application. WebAR is a complete SAAS/SOA/ASP Internet-based multi-function accounts receivable management and collection system platform from InterProse.

ACCESS Receivables Management is a certified diversity (WBE) owned business. The company has been honored as one of the foremost diversity businesses more often than not, in Maryland and across the country. Incidentally, ACCESS was the first debt collecting company to offer the use of online payment to debtors. The ARIA Virtual Agent is an extension of the founders’ philosophy, which lays stress on making use of the web, for debt collection.

Founded in 1996, as a data integration company, InterProse is now a provider of web-based products and solutions for accounts receivable and debt management. The company is PCI compliant and implements quarterly testing to ensure a secure environment.
