Alert) technology from another major European telecom operator. The unnamed operator chose Tilgin’s architecture to create a TV service offering based on IMS .

Tilgin’s IMS architecture is a “pre-Open IPTV Forum” software client and part of the company’s road-map to continuously offer the most advanced IPTV services.

Alert) CEO at Tilgin noted in a statement that in the last couple of weeks they have won several orders on IPTV technology from leading European operators, which confirms Tilgin's technological leadership and puts them in a strong position when their customers and other operators decide for a rollout of next generation of broadband services to the mass market.
As part of a global system integrator’s end-to-end solution, Tilgin will deliver its IMS TV client to enable the operator to deliver a wide range of new multimedia services. The solution will also enable the client to reduce the costs of network ownership and shorten time-to-market when the operator introduces new advanced and converged services.
IMS is a standardized architecture that enables operators to use IP networks for services combining mobile/wireless and fixed networks. By creating flexibility in the networks, IMS makes them more cost efficient and helps guarantee end-user quality.

Founded in 1997, Tilgin designs and delivers premier IP customer premises equipment (CPE) for advanced triple play and IMS-based services. The company recently won an order of High Definition IPTV technology from a major incumbent telecom operator in the Middle East.
