Alert Logic, a provider of on-demand IT compliance and security solutions, announced it has signed a partnership agreement with OpSource to provide its Threat Manager service to OpSource.

 

According to the agreement, OpSource will be offering Alert Logic's Log Manager and Threat Manager to its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS (News - Alert)) and Web customers. The OpSource's on-demand customers will be benefited from Alert Logic's SaaS-based Log and Threat Management Services. 

 
Alert Logic's Log Manager provides organizations with the ability to secure their networks and as well comply with regulations, which mandates that log data be collected, regularly reviewed, and securely archived.

 

Alert Logic's Threat Manager combines intrusion detection and vulnerability management technology, in order to provide protection from viruses, worms, and other threats that easily bypass perimeter and endpoint defenses.

 

Both Alert Logic's services and OpSource's services are delivered via a SaaS platform. With this, OpSource customers can experience key benefits from fast deployment with no software installation or maintenance required, said the company.

Under terms of the agreement, OpSource will become a member of Alert Logic's Vanguard Program. Vanguard Program members specially benefit from features that include: unique, on-demand security and log management solutions (which are competitively priced); accelerated sales cycles and incremental and recurring subscription revenues; minimal management and support effort; and comprehensive sales, marketing and technical support.
