DocumentMall for salesforce.com when used in Ricoh’s direct sales offices throughout the country will offer several saving options. This includes reduced usage of paper and toner besides reducing fuel consumption associated with the overnight shipping of documents. The immediate access to information through online document management provides several benefits by improving business processes.
Ricoh plans to showcase the DocumentMall for salesforce.com solution at salesforce.com’s user and developer conference, Dreamforce which will take place at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco from November 2 to November 5.
The DocumentMall for salesforce.com combines Ricoh’s digital imaging technology and SaaS document management solution, DocumentMall inside salesforce.com. This enable the most secure and confidential way of storing documents.
Ricoh sales representatives can scan important paper documents like signed contracts, agreements, proposals, and others directly into DocumentMall.com and access them via Salesforce. Electronic files and scanned paper documents can be uploaded easily resulting in faster and better decision-making.

Ricoh conducted a survey, which found that several companies store and maintain important sales documents in hardcopy format which does not help the sales and business processes. However the integration of secure document storage and scanning capabilities can improve sales processes, security and cost-savings throughout the organization, said the company.
DocumentMall for salesforce.com was developed in Visualforce designed especially for AppExchange application development. The benefits of Salesforce and DocumentMall are increased by combining on-demand customer relationship management with on-demand document management.
Ricoh supplies office automation equipment and electronics. The company’s integrated hardware and software products enable businesses to share information by controlling the input, management and output of documents.
