In an attempt to create awareness on how SkyData can improve productivity, SkyData Systems has announced a promotion that allows the first 5000 SkyData users free mobile access to salesforce.com for a year.
SkyData is a provider of the first person-centric mobile application. To create a new, composite view of any person, the company is combining information from salesforce.com with information from other contact systems, business and social networks, profiling, news, and location services.
Integrating communication features on the smartphone with these personal profiles, company officials said, their company is creating “the first person-centric business mobile application.”
The application delivers a unified view of all the business and personal contacts and their related information from any communication path, said officials.
Into one application, SkyData links all of the information from multiple sources. In addition, it also cross-references the data. This information is contextually available from phone calls, email, text messages and calendar events. And, officials said that the information can be accessed via a click from the phone's menu.
At present, SkyData integrates personal and business networks such as Google (

“When you have 24x7 mobile access to Salesforce and all the related information in the palm of your hand, you can quickly interact with the customer,” said Kevin Nix, CEO and co-founder of SkyData Systems, in a statement.
Recently, Cast Iron Systems started using SkyData in the field and having mobile access to Salesforce, LinkedIn and many other data sources, according to George Gallegos, vice president of sales at Cast Iron Systems.
SkyData Systems also announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with marketing automation software provider Marketo (

The agreement combines Marketo's intelligent lead scoring with SkyData's mobile access to complete business information. Officials said that this integration will enable sales professionals to receive leads on their smartphone.
In addition, they can assess the “urgency” through intelligent lead scoring, and access a complete data profile of the company and the opportunity before responding to the lead.
