Alert) is aiding the company to not only cut infrastructure and phone costs but also enhance employee productivity and customer satisfaction.
According to Craig Eerkes, president at Sun Pacific Energy, the Shell CoolBand initiative is focused on bringing down infrastructure costs and increasing transaction speeds. They are happy with MegaPath complete manageability all of their connectivity and security requirements.
MegaPath has allowed Sun Pacific to focus on customer satisfaction and other revenue generating areas of the business. By providing a complete infrastructure, MegaPath is supporting all application and data communications requirements throughout all of Sun Pacific Energy’s sites. This infrastructure is also delivering fast, reliable and safe credit and debit card processing.
Pacific Energy has also been able to eliminate multiple expensive phone lines for each location. This has been acheived by migrating key applications, including tank monitoring, back office systems and ATMs to the new broadband network.
Eerkes noted that his company is now able to easily add new applications and improve their customer service as they now have a dependable network. The MegaPath powered Shell CoolBand Network supports credit and debit card processing and all in-store applications through one secure and reliable high-speed network. Because operators can also connect all their stores to headquarters, the company doesn’t have to spend on phone lines for ATMs, cash transfers, tank monitoring systems and other analog devices.
MegaPath said that users can upgrade to the latest point-of-sale (POS) systems with Web-based reporting and inventory and labor management. Moreover, they can also deploy applications such as video surveillance and digital signage all over a single broadband connection.
Dan Foster, senior vice president of Sales at MegaPath said that by closely collaborating with operators like Sun Pacific Energy they help them leverage the Shell network for all their critical applications as well as eliminate unnecessary and costly network, satellite and phone connections.
