Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales offers the unique combination of corporate data from the organization’s CRM systems and public data from the Internet. The solution is designed to keep the sales force better informed and manage user data seamlessly. It also enables access of enterprise data when disconnected from the network and updates user data automatically once network presence is sensed.
Sales professionals require specific activities and data in order to drive performance. To meet the demand for this information, Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales provides mini-applications with productivity-enhancing features that give quick access to critical business information without the need to launch a browser, login or navigate through a series of screens to access data.
"Oracle is, once again, pushing the boundaries of Social CRM innovation with the launch of Oracle CRM Gadgets," said Oracle Senior Vice President of CRM Anthony Lye, in a Wednesday statement.
"Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales' ability to aggregate relatively isolated CRM information in the enterprise with late-breaking business data from the web and phone calls is an unparalleled addition for our customers' CRM and sales arsenal."
Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales is pre-built with integration into the Oracle Contact Center on Demand, enabling users to make phone calls using their existing phones and capture call information directly into the CRM system.
Such capability provides analysis for sales manager to run their organizations more effectively and can also allow for seamless transition for contact centers morphing from traditional call centers to profit centers.
Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales is scheduled to be available as a free download to Oracle CRM customers with existing contracts. The solution is based on open standards and ready for use on virtually any desktop operating system or Web browser.
Several features are available on the Oracle CRM Gadgets for Sales to assist Administrators in the management and deployment of the gadgets. The gadgets make use of existing user credentials and existing application interfaces.
