Videotron Ltd in a move to enhance its integrated communication services has deployed ConceptWave’s (News - Alert) Order Care suite. The services include Internet, telephony, wireless and TV.

 

The suite will also help Videotron in accelerating its broadband services rollout. The solution combines web-based order entry at the front-end with a sophisticated product catalog and order management engine that enables Videotron to model and fulfill all products and market offers from a single, tightly integrated system. The platform is integrated within Videotron’s current BSS/OSS system architecture.

ConceptWave Software Inc. develops and markets order and catalog management solutions that improve operational efficiencies and facilitate the rapid delivery of new services for the Communications Service Provider market.

 

According to ConceptWave, Order Care is metadata-driven order automation software supporting total order lifecycle management. Order Care has the ability to leverage capabilities of middleware applications to provide connectivity to legacy systems and is able to build metadata-driven APIs tailored to the data required and available.

 

The solution has the ability to reduce operational expenses and delays, a fact acknowledged by Videotron. It says that the company saw a reduced time to market for new products and offers and also reduced training time on the new solution.
