The Emirates Palace, a hotel, announced today that it’s partnering with Duos Technologies International to bring state-of-the-art security technology to its facility.
The project execution will begin in June, according to the companies.
The Palace, which includes the International Conference Centre of Abu Dhabi, is located in the capital city of the United Arab Emirates and is the official guest palace of the government of Abu Dhabi, company officials say.
The project reflects Duos’ commitment to develop and deliver the most advanced technology to the Gulf region, meeting client needs effectively and discreetly, according to the company. The firm recently opened major offices in Abu Dhabi to support and facilitate this project and others in the UAE and throughout the region.
“This milestone project enhances the cutting edge technology already showcased at the Emirates Palace,” said Stephanie Jason, president of Duos Technologies International. “It will offer the most sophisticated security system of any resort in the Middle East, mirroring the 7-star quality of its guest accommodations.”
Duos Technologies International is the global arm of Duos Technologies Inc., headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. The company provides a broad range of technology solutions with an emphasis on homeland security and critical infrastructure for governments and the private sector.
Duos’ systems are based on its proprietary object detection and behavioral analysis software, managed by the company’s multi-layer control platform, according to the company. The systems are designed to integrate sensing technologies into a unified command and control interface.
“The Emirates Palace is a model of beauty and innovative technologies designed to provide maximum comfort and protection for those who visit our facilities. The security upgrade is a reflection of our vision,” said Nasser Al Sheraifi, director of security at the Emirates Palace.
