UnitSpeed Host, a Web hosting provider, recently announced that it has transferred all its VoIP network and solutions activity to a subsidiary company, GismoTel, a company providing Internet telephony services. This shift has enabled GismoTel to focus more on VoIP services and solutions.

 

UnitSpeed Host, a subsidiary of W.I.T - Group Denmark, provides Web hosting services for data center locations in the U.S. and Europe. Some of its services include shared Web hosting, managed dedicated server, global internet connections, domain registrations, hosted exchange, hosted sharepoint, remote backup solution, server monitoring, and VoIP solutions.

 

UnitSpeed Host’s shared Web hosting and managed dedicated servers support both UNIX (Linux) and Windows operating systems. The company claims that its Global Connect (News - Alert) Internet roaming solution enables users to stay connected to the Internet, e-mail and mission critical information from more than 20,000 access points in more than 160 countries at local rates.

 

GismoTel, also a subsidiary of W.I.T - Group Denmark, provides services like private label VoIP reseller solutions, free CallShop solutions, calling cards, PBX (News - Alert) solutions, wholesale interconnect – consumer- and business solutions and VoIP phones, ATA adaptors, softphones and mobile devices. The company offers VoIP to its customers via a global cluster and load balancing network.

 

GismoTel enables a user’s smartphone, pocket PC or PDA with the fring messenger/SIP Softphone, to make calls via GismoTel. The company also offers wireless Internet telephony combined with Wi-Fi technology.
